Fishing Charters

Join us for an unforgettable fishing adventure. We offer trips by a traditional Maine Grand Laker Canoe, Modern Aluminum Bass Boat & 20′ Fishing Pontoon Boat. From ice out through early June, salmon fishing is prime with trolling streamers or spoons. Early June through July is primetime for smallmouth bass. Top water action is hottest during the spawn in June, while swim baits, diving crankbaits and jigging rigs become more effective in July as the water warms and the bass go deeper.

Lake Tours

Junior lake is a wild, remote lake with limited access and development. With very little traffic on the water, you’ll enjoy the serenity of this glacial lake and the wildlife habitat it supports. American bald eagles soar overhead as we check the remote shorelines for moose, otter, waterfowl, and more. With several beaches and islands located throughout the lake, be sure to bring your swim trunks. Pontoon trips available June – August.

Multiple streams, rivers and lakes surround us at Tucker Ridge. Whether you are seeking a day trip or a multi-day expedition, we have planned routes & trips tailored to most ability levels. The canoe trip season begins in May as ice out conditions allow and extend into summer as water levels allow – Usually mid-July for streams and some rivers. Lake trips are unaffected. Stay at the TRO lodge and day trip or bookend a multi-day expedition. DIY paddlers welcome.
